Pigeon Pressure lamp

    Hello everyone, I didn't know that pigeon also built pressure lanterns. But here is a lamp with the embossing as proof that it was built. It is made very simply, from thin sheet steel, not from brass. It will still shine. Best regards Pigeon-1.jpg

    The glass appears to be one of those which is often fitted to lanterns that are made in India.

    Nice and rare Petromax clone lamp. I´m not sure this refer to the French old "Pigeon" company.

    I doubt it too. The name ‘Original’ appears on a number of kerosene appliances from the Indian sub-continent.

    ... such as this kerosene pressure stove from Pakistan.

    (Notice how they got the spelling of ‘Original’ wrong on the burner casting)
