    All 3 Coleman items found somewhere different!

    I have a 250 hipolito already but this one looks to have only been fired once.

    Is that an Eye Brand lantern or just as recycled globe? Eye brand are better than most clones and are made of brass... at least mine is.

    I bought the shade to go on a CQ I’m waiting for. Now I’ve found the 118 I need another! The search continues…

    It is an Eye Brand lantern. I offered $10 for it because I wanted the parts, but when I got it home I realised it was quite well made. So I agree - one of the better clones!

    Will likely get it running and see how it performs

    $10 is a steal! Nice one.

    I'm guessing Eye Brand lanterns were made in Hong Kong as the better clones often were. Eye Brand, Solar and anything that came out of the Union Metal Works factory seem to be good quality.

    Do you know if they were ever sold here or was it most likely an import?
    Never seen one in WA.

    Unsure, but it’s the first one I’ve found in the wild in the past 6 years

    @JohnL & @Buckaroo

    They are not that common in Australia, but they were sold here.

    Only took me 2 years to get the 228F running! Needed some work, and some patience…

    Hello @Buckaroo
    Be careful what you use the white shade on, if it's glazed clear glass over white it will be off an electric
    pendant light and it may not handle the heat.
    I have seen many in my days.
    Cheers Marko.
