    Hi all,

Here is the HC 500 "firefly" hanging lamp (HC 500 hanging lamp on paper)
Amish manufacture really well made stainless steel and brass.
    Tank capacity: two liters.
All personal possibilities to fit a shade.

I test the adaptation for runing with alcohol.
Fillers cap safety valve and Amish brass hand pump.
    Mantles Peerless 24A.

    Thank for sharing.

    Regards,
    Titoo

Not NOS but currently manufactured in Pennsylvania by an Amish Lighting company HD Lanterns. I believe this lamp began production at the end of 2017 or beginning 2018. They can be ordered directly from HD Lanterns, they ship UPS in America or from a seller on ebay. Directly from HD is the cheaper cost. The generators are made by HD themselves and can be gas or kerosene , gens cost about $10.

I have this exact same lantern. Pitman Marine has the HIGHEST customer service.

They do not sell the alcohol (indoor operation) version directly.

They sell the naptha (white gas) version, and will sell an alcohol conversion kit, and install it for you, shipping you the lantern ready to run on alcohol.

In fact, as I type, mine in running right now -- to chase away the chill from the freezing weather outside.

When setup properly, the tank is pressurized to 60 PSI with a bicycle pump, the preburner cup is filled with alcohol, and lit. As the alcohol burns nearly out, crack open the fuel valve, and the mantles come to life.

I have three generators for these but no lamp. Interestingly they are all of different materials. One is brass, one aluminum, and one copper.

HC lanterns, the Firefly, Pitman Marine, they are all good.

An inexpensive way to build a HC lamp is buy the 500c lamp head directly from HC and mate it to a used Leacock lamp fount, now very plentiful on ebay. HC also sells the inexpensive Amish globe holder that supports the Coleman 220 globe.
