Hi! I started to fettling a Optimus 200. Until now it apears it har several problems.
    1. The pump it apears that is not pumping the air inside the tank. I don't hear any air sound going to the tank , even after 20 pumpings is 0 extra pressure in the tank, the pump is making a powerful presure in the pump tha i'm almost unable to secure the pump skaft in the place.
How can i fix the pump?

I'm going to take 1 problem per post, i think it is easyer for others to find relevant problems.
    Best regards, Frank

It sounds like you have a stuck NRV (Non Return Valve) which is located at the bottom of the pump tube.

Try to spray a good rust remover down the pump tube and let it be for a day or so.

When you then try to pump you will have a strong counterforce when the air compress.

If the NRV start to work you will hear a sound and the pressure will disappear.

You are living in Sweden so if you want you can send me a private messege where you can get my phone number so we can talk over the phone instead.

It will be easier to explain your questions that way.

It could be a lousy leather washer letting all the pressure get past. Just a thought before you go to all the trouble of removing the NRV.

That is the problem. The presure is not going away is just making an enormous counterforce.

Your NRV is not working properly. It is blocking the air flow into the tank.

Ok! I didn't and i think most of you will not like it. With a blunt wire i pushed through the hole in the NRV and now i can pump air in the tank. Is holding the presure and it apears to work ok.
PS: i have the glas, but just for the test i don't put the glas or the mantel.
The aurora borealis disappeared after a few seconds :)
    Best regards,

    No problem, Frank
I have been known to do that trick, too. I make sure there is no fuel in the tank though. I watch to see if the pump handle starts moving out and if it doesn't then I feel I fixed it and the lantern will hold pressure. If the handle moves out I replace the NRV.:mrgreen:
