Hi all, I had my grandsons over on Friday (three and six years old), as every Friday. I asked them what they wanted to do this Friday and they said they would like to built lamp, as granddad does. So I gave them a big box with mixed parts and they started to build. After some time the oldest wanted some clock parts to come with that lamp build, so I gave him and his little brother some parts I could find. After a while they were finished and I had to admire their lamps. I asked the oldest one how the lamps worked and he said it was some kind of mix with kerosene and solar cells and compressed air that came out of the lamp sockets with no lamp bulbs. The lamps were also remote controlled, by a clock timer. Well...... maybe the lamps of the future /Conny
Childrens imagination, amazing and so brilliant! Not surprising humans are so good at making things, it starts at an early age. Love the clock timers!
A great time was had by grandsons and grandfather. It’s good to be able to share your passion with your grandchildren. Who knows, it may fire the same passion for lamps in them as they get older. That would be such a wonderful legacy to leave them. Cheers Pete
