Picked up a small lot from ebay recently. Got some #999 Silk Lite mantles, a Coleman funnel (made in Canada) that has a blue colour material in it and a multi wrench.

    Those Coleman funnels are excellent.

The blue felt is fitted over a ring, and held in place by a slightly smaller ring. That complete filter is removable.

Under that filter there should be a brass gauze filter as well.

New felt is available from Old Coleman Parts.

    Cheers

Great find. I've got way too many of those funnels but I'll never pass one by if I can get if for cheap.

My goal is to make sure each of my Canadian green metal lantern cases has one of those funnels.

I wish I could find some of the metal lantern cases for cheap, but no luck yet. This is also my first Coleman filter, I have been wanting one for a while now.

Can anyone tell me what the wrench is used for?

I believe the wrench would be for different size of generator jamb nuts. The larger open end might be for the fuel caps on older Quicklite lamps on lanterns. That's just a guess though.

I've neen able to find my metal cases locally and frequently for $20 or less. And that usually includes a green 335 or 321 inside it. Most of my finds have been from a Sunday morning outdoor flea market we have in the summertime. Occassionally they come up cheaply on local classified sites too.
