This lantern is from 1956 (AV z) and shows the final variation of the 1020. The changes seen here were introduced during 1954 and as far as I know, the 1020 went out of production in 1956. Things to note compared to earlier variations are the lack of inner cone in the hood and thus no nut on the top. The new company name 'AB Bahco' and the addition of some arabic text on the tank. The handle continues the change made in 1949 of not having a loop.
By the looks of it, it has been lit a couple of times. Maybe it was only test fired then put into storage.
