I have a Coleman Austramax 2/300 and I was just wondering if it is worth anything. I have had one person tell me "$5 in a garage sale" while other suggest otherwise..
It’s not a Coleman, it’s an Austramax. Australian made, out of Melbourne. it’s worth what someone will pay. If you want to sell it put it on eBay with no reserve. If you want to keep it, keep it.
Clean it up and get her going because these Austramax lanterns run quite well. If you want to sell it well as stated above put it on ebay it's worth what some will pay for it.
In other words, it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay! They're a good lantern. Why not clean it up and keep it?
Austramax are sold often on eBay in Australia, so that’s a good place to establish a price. If your glass is original Austramax and unbroken that is a plus. Cheers Tony
Clean it up and keep it, very cool lantern, They do appear on Ebay from time to time, I have a red one. They come in different colours.
These are a really nice lantern. I have only one that I bought a few years ago, NOS. I just haven't had the heart to fire it up... yours should clean up nice.
