Here's my Coleman 202, November 1954. Got this about 20 years. Decal is incorrect but other than that everything else is correct. The Coleman logo is "double stamped" on the side of the font. Machine malfunctioned and stamped it twice.
I do like that @george it’s a very nice example. After reading the latest ICCC magazine, which features these beauties ........ I’m now officially on the hunt for one, amongst all the other lamps that “I must have” Cheers mate Pete
Thanks, all! Yes Pete, I too read that article and a well written one. I talked to Terry about my example and sent him the details. I'm the guy who always has the slightly "goofy" examples; like this one with the double stamped logo or the Coleman Air-O- Lantern with the collar stamped upside down! I guess I was always kinda an odd-ball and now it's rubbing off on the lanterns! lol
Love this one. A 202 is on my wishlist and would consider myself quite lucky to cross it off with an peer of such a fine example.
