Day Lite lantern (Germany)

I have a made in Germany Day Lite 500CP?
The non return valve on the pump loses air.
I tried to clean it with no success.
Is there a replacement part for this model is Europe? The nitrile seal under the spring is very hard to remove.I don t want to damage the NRV.

Hello Agostino,

There are no Daylite replacements for sale in europe. But I guess that similair 500cp lantern parts will fit ? I guess it is the standard px type ?
Also most pressure freaks over here make their own seals.

 

Nearly every piece from the Petromax 500 will fit

I installed a petromax NRV with no effort.
Petromax parts fit this model perfectly.

This lamp was manufactured by Meyer&Miss in Hamburg Bergedorf.
This ist the last version.
You can see it on the refined manometer.

Most parts are not compatible with Petromax parts.

It's a great lantern. Had to change the pricker and tighten the generator nut. New mantle, fuel, and pre-heat. Fired right up.
