Dirty petromax

hey hey again here from finland
now it has happened that I whispered completely into the lamps, and today a really dirty Petromax arrived from Germany.
wash all parts with an ultrasonic cleaner and well came clean.
and great that you can find a forum like this where you can share your enthusiasm and questions

It's certainly had a busy working life judging by the dirt and grime that's built up but you'll have fun bringing it back to its former glory.

By the way, that's a big ultrasonic cleaner you have... very useful indeed!

 

washing and cleaning, and replacement of seals. and something like that was found there under the dirt

thanks everyone, the refurbishment of this petromax was nice, and was completed really quickly, thanks to the ultrasonic washer.
I was even surprised at how clean it got, even though at first I thought otherwise.
next would be the restoration of the Hasag lantern I bought
