Hi fellas, im sharing this WW1-2 tribute to Australian nursing,
I missed the light up for the nurses the other week but it aspired me to create this lantern.

It has a steel font, im thinking was a wartime lantern, brass was a national resourse.

The red collar has no lip, i only find these on very early 1A's, the frame is an old one,

the globe is an earlier globe, they have the aladdin emblem up high. The top and bottom lip is slightly bigger/thicker than the earlier globes i find.
The hood is black enameled steel, the burner j tube and othere bits are steel. The pricker cock is from the 70's, it has a bit of everything.
I also included the symbol of Australian Army Nursing the silver rising sun.

Im going to use it and display it for a while until my local RSL reopens and im going to donate it to them. I think they will like it as they dont have anything like it.
    And now some money shots

Well done mate. The nurses were the soldier’s angels, they did so much.
    A very sincere tribute.
    Cheers

Hope I’m wrong Damien but your dog looks to have his head on the chopping block?
