Hello every one. I am new to the group and just starting out with a stove and lantern collection. I just got this one Primus 1020 AB30 Can any one tell me from what year this modell is and what type of mantle i need?
Hello Chris and welcome to the forum. Have a look at the Primus section in the Lamp Reference Gallery, you will see "Primus Date Chart" which will tell you that your lantern is from 1937. Any single tie mantle for 300 to 400 candle power lanterns will be O.K. on your 1020.
Welcome to the forum Chris. That looks to be a nice honest example of a 1020. If you don't know already, parts are available from fogas.se. It is very hard to see, but is that a Høvik Verk glass on it?
