Bought this off the evil bay, advertised as a 1959 barn find Coleman. Date stamped 5 9 so assuming it’s actually September 1945. Globe was broken after purchase and seller sent it with a 200/201 globe, ball nut torn up where they had tried to take the globe off and broke it, cobwebs and dirt a plenty, check valve and generator buggered, burner cap thread torn up and burner frame rusted through... Massive thanks to @hatrabbit for donating a new frame (from California to Sydney) Very pleased it’s finally up and running - can’t imagine it’s done what it’s supposed to do in a very long time Happy days

Ha, glad to see the old thing up & running. Here is my go-to lantern that's been on probably 30 camping trips in the last 15 years. I put it together from junk parts... she's not young or pretty but sure comes to life when the sun goes down.
