I wonder if anyone knows of a Tilley lamp or Petromax rapid lamp(vintage and in good working order) for sale?
Thinking I might get one for one of my brothers.

In older days,here in Ireland everyone had a Tilley lamp and women lit them too! So I am told.

Hi Fiona. Ireland seems to have quite lot of Tilleys hiding about - and for a time many were made in NI. I would suggest the local small ads or indeed car boot sales or junk shops might prove fruitful

There's a collector/seller on eBay that lives in Antrim I think. If you look regularly you may see one for sale at a reasonable price.

 

Thanks so much Colin.David replied and hopefully I will get a lamp from him and I am bidding on a lamp on ebay also.Will have lots now.
