A Company to Avoid

When these companies bid you can see who they are buy checking on the bidders list , they seem to use varying combinations of the same name & if you come across these non subtle changes put them on you blocked bidder list ASAP then they cannot bid again on the same item even automatic bids are stopped , as well as saying the caviat in the discription of your item & ALWAYS GET PROOF OF A SIGNED FOR POSTAGE Ebay will then see that you are not a bad seller & that the item arrived correctly & was signed for

& if your still not sure contact the bidder via messaging then if no contact within 24 hours of the end time block them & say this in your caviat too

If they get enough complaints Ebay will have to listen eventually

Well Stu, this latest one bid 4 seconds before auction ended - his first bid so nothing I could do about it.

 

A good friend of mine has also recently been scammed by this company. They put in a claim for a damaged item, and to cut a very long story short when it was returned to him he had to pay all the postage charges from the other side of the world.

They also trade under a variety of names, so be very careful out there if you're selling lamps and stoves....

We need to post a list of names on the CPL & CCS sites that we can add to as & when so as to catch these people before they bid by blocking them before hand ( check out how to do this earlier in this post ) , if you know any of the names these people trade under we must report them to other members on this & the sister CCS site.

The Korean website linked to these people that Koreans use to browse and buy stuff is www.geopass.com

In the past they have used Ebay id's:

GREENTEAPASS
COCOAPASS
RAREPASS
GEOPASS
JINWON
JINWONSEO
JINSEO
WONPASS
GEOCTOBER

I'm not sure if any of these are current.

Google 'geopass scam' for lots of horror stories.

PayPal actually found in my favour when I confronted them with shed-loads of reported complaints about these cowboys. Do not give up, keep battering E-Bay and PayPal with any evidence that you can provide. And spread the word if you find them operating under a new bidding name. Maybe we can make their operation a little less profitable. Steve.

 

Maybe we can put them out of business, surely...

Do they deal in other stuff apart from what we're interested in? They can't be doing this to just us, can they...

 

Everyone who has had trouble with that lot under any of those bidder names, should contact Ebay and tell them that they are going to stop selling on Ebay.

The more sellers who do that, the more likely it is that Ebay will listen, as they will be losing business.

Rouges like those ruin Ebay for everyone! Jeff.
