    Try this:-
Put the pricker wire back in the vapouriser. Then hold the vapouriser vertically and push the bottom end of the pricker wire down onto a hard surface. With your other hand, run a finger gently across the top. Can you feel the pricker needle just sticking out from the jet in the middle?

    Dear Christoph,
    Thanks for the tip.
I understand that the wick needs to be fastend with the two little ropes .
When fastend you cannot lift the top anymore.
Is there a manual for the Bialaddin 310 I can download somewhere?
I have no idea how to do this while the lamp is closed.

The lamp has to be started from below ?
    Thank for respondent

    Hi Sjeng,

The mantle attaches to the spigot on the burner so you can lift the entire vent and burner off with the mantle attached.

Have a read through the following:

    Vapalux lamp instructions

This is a pretty good video as well, it's for a later model but they're all pretty much the same:

Yes, and if you have an empty can or jar nearby, you can rest the entire hood, burner and mantle in that to prevent damage. Then you can carefully replace the top without damaging the mantle.

You really need to read, understand and follow the instructions before you try to use the lamp. Somebody might even have them in Dutch for you - @WimVe?
