Petromax and Hipolito in the garden

    Well - still locked down but any excuse (e.g. it wasn't raining) for a light up and a beer. Anyway lanterns need excersise too ! Some other lanterns crept in later on as the wife left me to my own devices..

    Very bright lamps. I guess the left one is the Px?

    Left hand side is the Hipolito (metal pump end) and the other the Px (1961 made). The Hipolito is using a Px helox mantle and the Px a thorated unbranded one. Both had 1.25 litres of fuel and 2bar pressure. Both have had recent jets/service kit. They are similar in output I think.

    But it's correct with the different pump knobs.:thumbup:
