7A9E5109-7FA2-4BF8-937C-CE9B5B8C8627.jpeg I have a 339 marked 2/74 and I am pretty sure this is the original globe but I have seen some other 339s from the same period with different ones. Just wonder why the variation ?

I believe your globe is original and period correct. The most likely explanation for "different" globes is that they are replacements because the original broke.

Thank you that is what I thought might be the case. Does that mean the lantern was made in USA as well as the globe as I thought the body was Canadian?

Coleman Canada used US made globes and some from UK. You will never see a globe "Made in Canada".
