    Hello all I thought that I had used all my luck for this year but did I?
    Well I purchased this Tilley TL106 Table Lamp just for the shade as I believe its an original one, I have enough of these TL106 lamps now or have I?

    This is how she came I will leave this one in original condition, the only thing that i've done is taken the shade off and put it on my Tilley TL10, I believe it looks better on that Lamp, she has some chips around the lower rim but that's fine with me.

    Even better for me I dont even think I payed a quarter of the price for the shade and I even got a lamp as well, with a globe so it's a win win for me and a bonus too boot.

    Here are the photos.

    A lucky find!:thumbup:

    Originally that colour of shade was for the Tilley pork pie table lamps and the link below shows one of my examples.

    1946-1950 circa, TL106.

    @JEFF JOHNSON
    Thanks and what about the Tilley TL10?
    What shade or colour did they use?

    The white opal shades are the most common, but there are also orange shades and I recall seeing a blue one somewhere and there were shades which had pictures on them, the link below shows Stevie's orange shade.

    I've always wondered about those orange and blue shades - somehow they just don't look 'right' to me. To me, they look like someone just got an old rattle can and decided to use it up... =;

    Hello all I have now put the shade on my Tilley TL106 Pork pie, @JEFF JOHNSON suggested to me that they came out with the pork pie.
    I also stated that I wouldn't touch this lamp and I was going to leave this lamp in original condition, now for the but.
    Well you know what they say you cant trust a polisher, I just couldn't help myself, but I have left the fount as is, I've rub in some Bees Wax
    for protection thanks to one of our Australian members, he makes it himself excellent stuff by the way thanks mate.
    So now for some photos.
