    I have seen these lamps before and just wonder 'why'. I can't see that they would be cheaper to produce than what they were otherwise making.

    They are an interesting lamp now though, from a collectors point of view.

    The control wheel is for needling

    You can use the needle from a 551 Switzerland HASAG

    These are not common. They are mostly all steel so most have rusted away and I don't think there have been many survivors. Mine is in poor condition and missing the control key. I have not seen one working before so you have a nice rare piece there. ::Neil::

    I just received mine and, as usual here, the seller didn't take care about the globe...
