I identified this model using Neil's lamps here in the reference. No stamping on the fount top plate so I assume it to be the IL&S 80 vs the Knight Lite. This one is running it's best with #20 size mantles and burning kero.

Thank you for the kind words everyone. Something I forgot to mention is the lamp is wearing a common 306 shade. A later variant it appears to me. Thanks for looking.

Well they may be common over there..;)
308 is it? Are there reproductions of these at all?

    Many thanks

@podbros the shade is a model 306 or often times called a Rayo shade as the wickie Rayo lamps often had them new. I'm not sure on the "reproductions" but this is probably the most prevalent 10 inch glass shade found in the USA. First starting in the 1890's if I remember correctly on into modern production. Simple yet effective :) kind of like myself :^o:D

    Whoops 306 it is
    Thanks Toby !

Most wick lamp shades over here seem to have a much larger top ‘lip’

    Cheers

Very nice ...... I’d like to get to few shades like that however they’re a seem to be a bit scarce here in Queensland Australia. Or perhaps I’m not looking in the right places ......

Nice one Tony and a very nice lamp you have ! It’s a tough one to call if this is in fact an IL&S 80 or a Knights KK as from what I know the former were a retailer and recent evidence I’ve uncovered proves that not all Knight Light products were badged as previously thought .
Either way they are a great lamp and mine is unbadged also
Here’s are ads I found for both companies 56DBD79D-771A-4BE2-A92D-642151FC3E3E.jpeg FC1E647A-FCDC-4152-AE2E-8EB694EE74EA.jpeg

Thank you @Akeepsake , yes I was just assuming on the IL&S vs Knight as I had seen other Knight's badged on the top plate. Makes no difference to me either way.

Thank you for the advertisements... I'm glad to see I didn't overpay at $12 vs $15 new price :)

I just made the assumption that an unmarked Knight KK is an IL&S 80. It may be Knight of course but if a lamp like this has no ID on the plate then how can we know who actually made or sold it? I have seen them with IDs as Knight both for kero with the generator heater and without as a gasoline burner but also both without any ID. In general I don't like making assumptions but it this case it makes life simpler. ::Neil::
