FL6 fuel gauge.

Hi,
I have been searching the forum for guidance on the fuel gauge. Some very interesting posts. My question is the fuel gauge on my FL 6 the main body seems to have a lead washer on. Is this correct or another bodge?

 

Hi - mine has a lead washer and works just fine

Thanks Chris for clearing that up for me. I wondered as the burner was not correct for my FL6 it was an adaption of a three pipe burner. Quite a mess.
