    Hello 1335337460-SL370699.JPG 1335337482-SL370701.JPG 1335337506-SL370704.JPG 1335337528-SL370706.JPG 1335337545-SL370707.JPG
I purchased these two lamps on ebay the other day and thought I was buying two inexpensive Chinese Anchor lamps but when I got home and opened the boxes I found I had one nearly new Anchor and an unfired Red Heart lamp. I checked the main metal parts and found that the Red Heart was non-magnetic (brass?) the Anchor was steel. The lamps look identical, apart from the separate filler and pressure gauge on the Red Heart, the boxes had Anchor printed on each. I have searched on this site and have found little to nothing about this lamp has anybody come across this make? I would guess this just another Chinese Petromax clone? The last photo is the Anchor lamp for comparison.

There is one in the Lamp Reference Gallery and I'm sure we've discussed these lanterns on here before...

Well probably but this one seems to be brass which might imply a "Better" brand. This factory seems to have turned out a lot of product under many different brand names. ::Neil::
