Yeah I saw this last week. There is quite a lot of work gone into it and I actually think it looks okay, bit pricey though… Not sure about,…. what looks like an 0 ring between the control cock and tank nut, can see that leaking in time. Interesting though.
Thanks, I was curious. Heat does rise, but lamps also radiate. Some small lamps, eg Austramax, can get very hot tanks. Edit: I have a little stove that was made from a small blow torch and a Primus burner. It looks as though it was made by someone during WWII. Cheers Tony
Tony it was my concern it would get hot too, but had it lit for two hours and it stayed nice and cool thankfully.
To begin with I did have an extension piece (as photo shows above) but the lamp looked messy and also it had to use two seals which I didn't like so I removed it.
