Does anyone know what Primus nipple No. 6310 is for?

This is a square topped nipple. It looks like it comes from a generator/vapouriser.

Fogas list it as suitable for 1050 or 1051.

Ah you beat me to it!

Nils posted the 1945 catalogue which lists it as a munstycke 6310
I see that primus fur benzin has a roto-gen like the Coleman

there are other catalogs listing the whole generator

Has anyone ever compared the Coleman and the primus generators next to each other at all?
    oh well

    Hi Tony
I wouldn’t want you to go to any bother.. I know very little about them but when looking I was surprised to see a gennie that to me resembled the r55
That’s what I love about this forum, you can get lost in lamps and even lamp related stuff

There are two versions of the Primus generator. The older one is almost identical to a Coleman R55. I havn't tried myself, but have heard that the R55 can be used as a replacement.

    Thanks Tony
It looks more like the one from Nils ‘45 catalogue .. I found one in a ‘34 catalogue which looked a bit more like the coleman but then I got distracted by some fluted table lamp globes :(
