I thought it might have been an ash flash, but after looking on the Terry Marsh site and here it's definitely a campway. A 639 globe fits on there beautiful. I cleaned out the tank and put some new graphite packing in the valve stem as it seeped a bit. When I pulled the generator apart to clean it there was only a small spring around the pricker rod and the rest was some kind of packing Wich took about an hour to get out as it was really stuck in there. I replaced it with the springs from a 339 generator. I put on a couple of 24a mantles (too big but I've got tons of them) pumped it up and held my breath and voila! away she went! Very Coleman esq. I'm going to get some more evapo rust on Tuesday and give it a good soak, I just wanted to see if it went or not first. Thanks to @Tony Press for the great write up about these
    Cheers

    Thanks Tony, I'm really happy with it. I didn't think it would perform that good with the bigger mantles on on it, plus I was a bit worried about replacing the guts of the generator. I can't wait till I've cleaned it up a bit and try out some 2chg mantles on it. One of the burner screens looks like it's on its way out and since they aren't replaceable I'll just pull them both out when it goes, I don't think it will effect light output just make it a bit noisy. I'm assuming these are 60s 70s?
    Cheers

    @Brian Reynolds

    I’m not sure when they were first imported from Hong Kong, but Michaelis Bayley were importing them in the 1980s.
