Greeting fellow lampers Not sure about the do's and donts here From a vw forum i am on Usual etiquette is to first introduce yourself I am Warwick I have recently well now for the last 3 years been bitten by the pressure lamp world It all started with a regular Alladin 21c that was procured to take me back to my youth This where a similar lantern was lit by my mother while dad and i removed the shutterply from the windows on a very private house at the beach That smell - parafin mingled with the damp sea smells in the house On one trip we had to dig out the front and only door as the shifting sands of the dunes had closed the access Well Now i am totally bitten Colemans Tilly Bialladin Petromax Once i have found my way around this amazing site I shall suerly find the place where your projects are listed or the show me yours page I am sure that just like the vw forum Regular rule No pictures - then it did not happen Great Forum I might need yo retire to have enough tomr to read the amazing threads within Gor now happy hunting Regards Warwick South Africa

Hi Warwick. You've definitely come to the right place... somewhere you can feel at home with fellow lampies.
Loved your post Warwick especially your reminiscences. You will fit in very nicely here where members have a love of lamps and also of a good story. A bit of humour won’t go far wrong either. The (mostly) chaps here are extremely knowledgable and willing to share their expertise. I myself love lamps but know nothing. Sometimes I have a lucky find but that’s about it.
Greetings from down under, you will love this site enjoy yourself and dont be afraid to ask questions.
Welcome from Queensland Australia. I’m looking forward to reading your future posts and learning from you. Cheers Pete
