Hi all, Another example of the 61Ln model. This one has never been used it is in NOS condition. This lantern is of a very high quality. The glass is identical with a slight yellowish smoke. From the pictures alone, one could already sense that the quality is excellent. We are most probably not going to find any newer lanterns to be made with that kind of quality anymore.
Yes, @WimVe , The Aida was of similar quality too. These are mostly from the same period of manufacture as well. Same goes for the Petromax too, especially the earlier ones. If we should make a fair comparison(new vs new) between the earlier and later productions, the difference would be quite remarkable. I do not own a Hasag but from most pictures I've seen, I have a strong feeling that the quality of its metalwork is particularly top notch. I might not be correct but it certainly appears to me like its standing out starkly above most.
