My Estelar 835 from Spain. It is a 400cp lantern similar to the Petromax 835 with some differences. The base is made of a lloy(?), also the ring bolt at the top. The reflector has no marks ;(. Unfortunately, the original pump knob was missing and the mounted wooden knob was cracked. I had a few matching knobs made by a metalworker friend. Like most hanging lamps, this Estelar runs smoothly.

I can tell that your 835 must be older than my Estelar 835.You can see this in the construction of the pump lock and you can also see it in the fact that the lamp and the shade are completely unlabeled.I suspect your 835 was made between 1943 and 1948.During this time,A.Klaebisch was unable to obtain any Petromax deliveries from Germany do the war. The Spaniards were forced to make the parts them selves. As far as I know, the Estelar brand has only existed since 1949. Regards Reinhard
Hi Reinhard! Yes, it was quite a lot of work to get the lamp ready again. The mounting of the mixing tube was broken in two places and the mixing chamber was also no longer tight. The lamp has a badge on the housing, I still have a photo of it: Otherwise, only the pressure gauge is marked "Estelar". Neither the carburetor nor any other parts are labeled.
