Just saying hi from sunny Gloucestershire. I have recently joined and have found the resource here invaluable in that I have managed to get all four of my lamps running. One Petromax, 2 Chinese clones and one Tilley. Have enjoyed playing, love the hiss and takes me back to my childhood home. Only just into the 60's but no running water, electricity, bathroom or inside toilet. Tilley lamps were a big part and I can just remember lighting the table lamp, under supervision, people would have heart failure now allowing a kid to touch such stuff

A tidy garage is the sign of a sick mind! Post pix of your missus if you like but the black tape will definitely be needed - especially over the n*pp**s - we have some very sensitive readers hereabouts. The aforementioned are tolerated only on lanterns and stoves but not anywhere else...
