    Last week in Sassenberg/ Germany started the annual PETROMAX meeting from 7.May - 13.May 2012

    That lantern on the images 0370 to 0373 really cought my eyes!
    What is it?

    Three control wheels and a manometer, each positioned 90 degrees apart (best seen here).
    Even if I like simple things, I'm also very fascinated with lamps with many gizmos. 8)

    Hi Karli, Yes that lamp that Christer has singled out is is very interesting indeed, what model is it? And do you know what the control wheels are for? Great pictures, thanks - Steve.

    Nice pictures karli.

    Well guys it is a Continental lantern.

    One for the main shut off,
    one for the pre heater,
    one for the pricker,
    one for the pressure gauge.

    Gasoline burning. Very nice lanterns.
