Hello Im getting really upset about my X246B. After a couple of vapourizers, the flame is still licking around the mantle which is burning yellow and not to Bright. Any ideas? Or Better yet. Anyone with a spare vapourizer? Thanks Jonas, DK
Make sure that the air inlet to the mixing chamber isn't clogged or blocked. Sometimes certain insects or spiders tend to build their nests there. Are you certain that the vaporizer is at fault? The vaporizers for X246B aren't too hard to find in Europe I think. The Fettlebox or Basecamp in the UK should have them. Otherwise, ebay or a WTB post here.
Check all the components of the burner are tight. Do you have another working tilley you can swap parts with? To determine where the fault is.
Finally. I had a spare Burnet and Hood. At first the flames were still around the orange burning mantle but some patience and more pressure and now she burns great. Thanks
