Many thanks to Maurice Snowdon for his dimensions for this windshield (to be found on this site). I have followed his version 2 as best I could using a strong pair of scissors and a pair of pliers only. Took an empty butane gas cylinder about 60mm diameter. Cut is down, turned in the sharp edges. Made handle from garden fencing wire. Tried it on R1 and yes, I now only need one preheat, where before I needed two. Had fun making it as well. Not pretty, but functional and the paint will soon burn off. Thanks Maurice. Steve.

Probably outlive me as well Jeff! I am going to make the next one out of a Glen Morange single malt whisky tin, if I can still see straight after the contents. Looking forward to it :) :D/  . Steve.

Hi Maurice, Thanks for taking the time to record and post all those measurements. I will have another go one day and try to make a tidier job of it. All the best - Steve.
