Tilley FL6

    That’s the first (1937) variation of the FL6, with the small bore pump. It also has the brass ID plaque. The pump has some differences with mine:
    Tilley FL6 (1937)

    I’m curious as to why it came with the mounting bracket upside down.

    Hi Tony, I left the cradle as is, I just liked the extra height, a bit weird looking but then so am I :lol:

    A really good example and would make a excellent campsite light.

    I took one camping in the Scottish highlands last year! And was told to turn it of because it lit up one side of the campsite ](*,)

    Those big reflector kero heaters can throw out an amazing amount of heat. Have to be careful and not set fire to something.
