    That looks to be in very good condition Tony :thumbup:
    Would you say that the flowers are hand painted ? From what I can see each group looks to be slightly different?

    @BigStevie

    Certainly rare in Australia, but I don’t know about it’s status in the USA.

    From my understanding this first iteration of the 318 was advertised by Coleman in 1914-1924 often pictured on the torch lites of the era. These were also sold by several other manufacturers in varying colors (Coleman was only like pictured above). We see them pop up fairly often here in the states, altho not always on a GPA. Beautiful shade Tony :thumbup:

    Thanks, Toby.

    It’s good to know the date range.

    The Aladdin 201-6 shade (white; undecorated; and which I’ve never seen in the wild) appears to be the same shade.

    Cheers

    I would bet you're right Tony. Probably from the same mold.

    I wouldn’t know how to identify a glass shade as belonging to a GPA style lamp, let alone specifically a Coleman. Where do I even begin here @Tony Press ??

    @Buckaroo

    When USPS reinstate “Economy Air” postage to Australia (probably in March, so I hear), I’m buying a few of the books recently published about Coleman shades for Aussie consumption. You can be on the list, if you like.

    I’m also fortunate enough to have been given a copy of the two “Coleman lamp books”, and I know a few people who know more than me, so I ask them.

    The Reference Gallery here is also a good place & keep track of @coleman54 and @Toby Garner.

    Feel free to send me a PM if you ever want to check something.

    Cheers
