    I see on the overseas news mention of a large storm moving into the U.K. Authorities asking people in Wales to stay at home and schools are closed.

    May be time to top up the fonts and clean lamp glasses lest the mains power fails.

    Lanterns were readied here in Brighton on the south coast but the lights stayed on.

    We lost electricity for a little more than a day. So a Vapalux M1, Tilley Jacobean and an Optimus 11 were presswed into duty.
