Why We Collect?

I was watching the forum post about collecting torches/flashlights and came across this ABC (Australian Broadcasting Commission) post about the psychology of collecting.

Collection or clutter? When your hobby becomes a houseful

I now know it’s rational. I still have to convince my family though.

 

Interesting read, some just don’t understand

 

I think the wonderful world of collecting is quite normal, all my friends do it .....

 

I think there was a case once where the freedom to collect was recognised as a human right within the human rights act.
