I acquired this recently and the hook disc on top says Made in Germany. The bottom metal part can be pulled down (it has a pulley kind of arrangement) to light the lamp/candle inside and released to go up on its own. I even did an image search but nothing matches in the result. Thanks in advance!
Hall lamp for candle (if there is a socket or a small oil lamp) pull down the bottom and the metal part holding the light source come down and the shade goes up so you can light it.
