I found some petromax NOS, but these are different label marking. Some mantles have "superior quality", some mantle have no marking.

    Someone know these mantle.
    1. Superior quality = More thorium? what is manufacturing date?
    2. NONE marking = none thorium? what us manufacturing date?

    Thanks,

I can't read them clearly enough from the image. I had some like this though & they had the word "Original" spelled as "Orginal" on the seal, they were inferior to other petromax mantles like this which came in a package with Black Printing upon the paper/glassine. I assumed that they were a copy/counterfeit ( but i have not seen much other info about them, ( i also assume they were made 1980-2000 range, somewhere in Asia, this is my opinion). RxR

That was a topic of discussion at Coleman Collectors Forum for a long time. Members there felt the Superior Quality were good and consistent . Whereas they seemed to find the unlabeled ones to burn in inconsistently form and size wise, shrinkage. You should read the discussions over there to get more information .

I've used the Superior Quality and they are bright enough but I found they would shrink a lot during burn in which seemed to lessen its light output. After shrinking they seemed more like 300cp. On the other hand, I cut them and use them as double tie mantles and at that they excel, they are easy to cut and form because of the flexibility of the fabric and burn very bright increasing the light output of my Tilley and Vapalux lanterns substantially.
