With apologies to our lady members, I was unexpectedly reminded of my first TV crush and boy oh boy did it bring back memories!

Mine first screen crush was Helga Anders who starred in the TV show, 'White Horses' as the horse crazy Julka. Whenever I hear the theme tune I am instantly transported back to my 12 year old self, gazing in rapture at the beautiful creature on screen. Oh the memories!

My second crush was Diana Rigg as Emma Peel in the TV series, The Avengers. Again, just hearing the Avengers theme makes me smile.

Anyone else care to confess their first screen love?

I don't know Helga but Dianna was nice,

My first crush, i believe, was Purdey played by Joanna Lumley from the New Avengers, i was lucky enough to meet her when i was working on a site in Chelsea in the 80's, she walked past and i asked for her autograph, she said i'll be back in a minute with it, i thought she wouldn't bother but true to her word she did, i looked and said you haven't put any kisses on it and she kissed me on the cheek instead :D
its a nice little memory to have.,
I still have her autograph somewhere.

When I was about 12 (1960) my elder sister, who played the piano, bought some sheet music of Connie Francis recordings. They had lovely photos of the young Connie on the cover, and she became my first crush.

Not exactly a TV or film star, but a star never the less.

That's a very hard question but I did come up with Catherine Bach, from the Dukes of Hazard origin series.

These things definitely go in ages and Honor Blackman was too early fir me.. if fact I think that was just before we had a TV.

And @Buggerlugs Catherine Schell was as stunningly beautiful woman! Definitely on my teenage list!

There might have been other crushes before Honor, but I can't remember them, the first thing I remember seeing her in is Goldfinger.

    Hugs Sammi x
