I’ve not had much workshop time or many light ups this year for family reasons. But I just love plot night and managed a good light up to accompany my poor excuse for a bonfire! Despite many of the lamps not having been lit for months, everything worked as it should.

    Line up - Petromax 821, Bialaddin 300X, Mewa 351, SMP Mil-Spec, Coleman 327, Coleman 249 and a few wickies.

Lovely to hear it called plot night. In NZ we called it Guy Fawkes.

Scott, your Indian name is " Clean Lantern" lol. Your lanterns are always immaculate. Great light up and good selection of lanterns.

I’ve been called worse! I try to look after them and have enough functional lamps that each one only only sees a few light ups a year.

Plot night is easily my favourite night of the year. How many other occasions are people prepared to spend time in a dark garden in the UK! In this hobby in the UK you can be up late summer eve and warm or early autumn eve and cold. Would love to live somewhere where the evenings drop dark early and are still warm! Maybe I need to dust off the heaters!
