I have been trying to find a copy of the book of all pressure lamps by Neil McRae, but I wasn't lucky. Anybody knows where to get one?
I bought mine at Base-Camp many years ago. It's temporarily out of stock, as they explain on their web page here. If the printed version sold today still is the same as the one I bought several years ago, I guess a second edition is much needed since many things has changed and lamps has been added since then.
Thanks - will be exciting to see the new version when it appears. I actually did find the first edition at a sort of online book subscription site (forgot the name), but that was a disaster - even though the book was listed, I couldn't open it, and it took a lot of trouble to get out of it all again, having to pay for them to cancel my supposedly free trial subscription... The whole setup is not according to my idea of doing business in a fair manner.
THe PLC was never made available on any subscription web site. I have never sold it other than a hard copy in 2001 and as a PDF direct from the author (Me) Sounds like a pirate rip off to me. The PLC is not available as a printed edition. The first edition was printed in 2001 and ran to about 80 pages or so. In my pc it now has 204 pages and counting. It does indeed have a great deal more info than the original did and I am always adding to it and don't really know when I can cut it off and print. However I will sell this running master of it as a PDF at $20 a pop. If I sell a copy then I will check the page breaks and create a new PDF which is uploaded to a web site and can be downloaded. At that time I also give previous buyers the download URL so they can also have the latest version. If you are interested then PM me and I can flog you a copy. ::Neil::

Okay, I checked the thing - the pirate, or whatever it is, seems to be called lilplay.com - but from 1st of June it is instead donnaplay.com (as far as I can tell from the website). This was what I apparently had signed up to: "Free for 5 Days Details: You are currently signed up to a Free for 5 Days (Expires Apr. 27, 2015). If you are satisfied with LilPlay Premium, your membership will automatically renew at $54.95 per month after your trial expires. You can easily switch to a Regular membership at any time during your trial by visiting LilPlay Support or by calling us at +46 75 240 60 08 / 1-302-722-4141." - I suppose it is not strange that I wanted to get out of it immediately when I found out that it didn't work, and then they wanted me to pay for that...! The end result is that I paid 1$. Hopefully they will not charge more later. As I can now see when searching for it, others are not happy with the site either: https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/lilplay.com - so be warned. The good part of it is that they obviously do not sell copies of anything, they just charge money for it without delivering. If you want Neils book, better buy it from Neil I stumbled into the site when searching for the book - there must have been a link to them from somewhere, but I do not remember from where. Stupid of me to fall into this. --- I found the old link to the book search I made at lilplay, but now it doesn't work - the book seems to have been removed - so I cannot show which details used to be available there.
I got the book now and I am really impressed! This book contains tons of information - so much that it would literally take 30 years to collect it... Hereby recommended!
