    Not bad for a basket case from an estate auction, just need to find a bail for it.

    The nickel plate was in bad shape, I couldn't save the finish on the band so I just polished it off. Here is a photo of the 237 and a 236 Major lighting up the garden that evening.

    Perhaps that pdf is what you need to fabricate a bail from a piece of wire. I once scanned the bail for a friend who had exactly the same issue. The grid on the sheet of paper is 5mm, and it is to scale correctly when printed out 1:1.
