This lamp not only shows the changes compared to previous versions but is unusual because of the year of manufacture. This lamp is from 1947 (AL 4) and is the /8 option. This option is a plain parchment shade and was introduced in the mid to late 1930s. 1947 is unusual in that 1015 production otherwise stopped in 1939. A few lamps have turned up from 1947, but only that year after 1939. They are seen in two options, either a globe or parchment shade. Why there was a special run of these lamps in 1947 is unknown. Most changes seen on this lamp were introduced in 1934. These include the shroud for the alcohol cup, which now goes inside the edge of the cup and is held by two puch marks either side and only has five rows of holes. The handle is now the shaped version. Other changes on this lamp are the cleaning wheel which is the small bakelite version which was introduced in 1938 and the filler cap which was also introduced in 1938.

Thank you. It is very nice. I knew 2 parchment shade are original at least. Are there another original parchment shade? I was offered primus 1015. But the shade is not what you show me. I don't know it is original or not.
The catalogues mention the one I have - with a flower pattern - but also a plain parchment shade much like the one in this topic, but possibly more yellowish. And a third shade which was pleated, and in a light green colour, is mentioned for the at least 1025, but I don't know if it ever was available for the 1015.
