Here is the Blanchard 850 wall lamp 100cp output, its mounted on a wooden plynth this is then hung on the wall heavy lamp when got fuel in. Even close to 100yr old now still runs well with a good light.
Pete, I have not seen what condition the lamp was in before you showed us the pictures but it looks one cool lamp now. Great stuff.
Thanks Jeff and Den yes its a lovely lamp now was good before when mick found it but he lent it to me to fix up a bit and dint have the heart to take it back!!! It had all the usual problems blocked jet everything stuck tight tank full of gunk and so on but big cause for concern was a massive clag of solder round the boss where the arm fixed to the tank. I spent hours picking and cleaning this off only when it was clean again the bloody arm fell off the tank could have spit. So no choice now i just had to resolder the whole thing something i wanted to avoid still great now all as it should be and a much prized lamp on the wall worth all the hours work cheers pete
