Hey Darryl I found this lamp in a loft in an old shet of "Rijkswaterstaat" in Kinderdijk Holland. It was used in the night when there was a storm from the N/W and high tide, to check the dikes for damage. I wil only clean the lamp and make it working again. Then we can put it on display at Kinderdijk.
@Erik Dammers , that is a very cool find, having some background history is even cooler. Give it a gentle clean, new set of seals, new mantle, new clean kerosene. It will be bright and beautiful when used for ages to come. You have hours of fun there show and share with the younger generation.
