CRYSTAL LITE TABLE LAMP

Here are images of a petrol table lamp quite a small lamp not often seen.
Easy straight forward fettle does run but i lost the picture of it running.


Dates from around mid 20s i should think

Yes it is a nice lamp but i know little about them so have no idea on the globe jean.

Did you get it from Australia?

The Crystal Lite table lamp is shown in this Australian advertisement from 1927.

Crystal-Lite lamps were exported from the USA by the AJ Alsdorf Corporation (Chicago) and sold in Australia by J & W Bateman Ltd (Perth, Western Australia), from 1925 to the late 1920s. They are most certainly made for AJ Alsdorf by the Enterprise Tool and Metal Works (Chicago).

I have another Crystal Lite table lamp in the queue in the shed.

It came from a ebay seller in ireland then landed here to fettle for a friend so not my lamp either
Looks a pretty standard shade so hopefully he can get one to fit ok
