Hi fellas, the generator on my slant appears to be gummed up to blocked, there is no fuel coming out the jet at all.
What is the best way to clean the generator or out get a reproduction replacement?
    Open to suggestions .

The slant lantern uses an R55 vaporizer.
Here's a link on how to rebuild the R55.

It may just be easier to buy an R55 from oldcolemanparts.

    I hope this helps.

I did that two weeks ago to an old R55 generator. I removed what was left of the packing and it now works. The jet however is a little worn as evidenced by some flaring on the mantles. Fun to do if not a bit fiddly.

The slant burner came with three generators during its production lifetime and there are 4 that will fit. Original was a T88 straight gen with a built in pricker screwed into the tip of the needle valve this was replaced with a Q77 Quick-Lite and later again with an R55. A Q99 gen will also fit and work but was never fitted from new by the factory. The T88 and Q77 being straight are a simple clean out and re-pack. ::Neil::

I have a NOS straight Q77 generator if you need it.

    Best regards
