Repairing Dented Pressure Lamp with PDR

Hi Everyone,

I would like to share a little experiment that i did to try repair a dent on the tank of my Austramax. The dent has been around probably long before i got it in the used market.

Using the PDR glue pull method, i was able to sort of reduce the dent down to 5% of its original dent. Making it more pleasant to look at.

Here are the photos taken last Sunday after working on it. Maybe this can be applied to other lamp tanks too.

Hi Rob,

I just use the Stanley hot melt glue, and the PDR pull tabs.

I suspected that the wall of these tanks were thin enough to pull out, hence I tested.

I have one but haven't had much success using it . I will have to have another go.
